  Former Goodpasture lineman Mark Fisher was named to the 2010 Preseason All Sun Belt Conference team. The 4 year starter from Goodpasture anchors the MTSU line and is one of the very best in the up and coming Sun Belt Conference.
Word from Coach Martin's office is Fisher likely will get the opportunity to be the 3rd Goodpasture player to compete in the NFL. "Reports we see have Mark with an outstanding chance to be drafted" said Goodpasture Coach David Martin who also has Bills linebacker Marcus Buggs and Dolphins receiver Patrick Turner currently in the NFL. It appears Fisher has indeed received a draftable grade among the NFL scouts. Fisher would give Goodpasture the most players in the NFL of any high school in the state of TN. Currently Goodpasture is tied for first for the most players in Tennessee with two other high schools. Three NFL players would put Goodpasture in elite status among high schools across the nation. In the United States only 174 high schools have 2 current NFL players, 44 high schools have 3 players in the NFL and only 10 high schools have 4. DeMatha Catholic in Maryland leads with 7 NFL players.
